We returned to the PVT this morning to carve out another contiguous segment of the 30 mile trail. This time we parked on Cedar Ridge Road in
Stillwater, easily the most beautiful parking spot we have seen yet (enough room for about 5 or 6 cars) with a single picnic table (which we
used when we ate lunch after our hike), overlooking a horse barn and corral across the road and a gorgeous narrow farm lake on the other side.
We headed SW all the way to Spring Valley Road, repeating a stretch that we had done in May when we hiked part of the PVT along with the Gnome Hollow Preserve. Total distance hiked today was 7.3 miles in under 3 hours.
