This is hike #1-3 ("The Shore Path") in the book
A Walk in the Park: Acadia's Hiking Guide (Tenth Edition). This was the first of nine hikes we did in Maine the week of May 10.
This walk along a mostly gravel path skirts the coast of Frenchman Bay in Bar Harbor, Maine. We were able to walk to this beautiful shore path right from the bed & breakfast in which we were staying. As you can see in the photos, the first time the fog was so dense we couldn't see the Porcupine Islands or Bar Island in the bay. Two days later, there they were!
