South Branch Preserve South
This was the second preserve we visited today, only five or six minutes by car from the South Branch Preserve North. This preserve is smaller, but once again has a lovingly manicured and blazed trail. Using this map we parked at the end of Shop Lane and headed into the woods, following the lollipop in a clockwise direction, eating lunch on one of the benches with a view of one of the open fields, as an Eastern goldfinch watched.

Total distance today was about 1.3 mile in about 55 minutes.
