Lake Henry

Lake Henry, Continental Soldiers Park (8/23/2010)

This is the hike of the week for 7/15/2010 as described on the NYNJTC site. It's a short hike (only 1 mile if one follows only the perimeter) but there are may short spur trails both to the lake and away from the lake to the Ramapo River. We took nearly every spur, and enjoyed fully exploring this serene place, walking over 1.5 miles total.
